March Nutrition for the Mind, Soul, and Body with Mihygge
As march farmer’s markets bring in the colors of spring, we start to crave freshly baked baguettes and bread. To make this delicious recipe you will need
1. A baguette
2. Some baby spinach, arugula, or kale sliced into thin strips
3. Olive oil
4. Slivered almonds or walnuts (can substitute with fruit)
7. Pepper and Salt
Begin by arranging the baguette slices on a tray. Now, place the strips of greens as in above onto the slices and add a couple of mini squares of the honeycomb. Next, top it off with some slivered nuts or fruit, if you are allergic to nuts. Add a small pinch of paprika, salt, and pepper over the entire slice of baguette. Lastly, add a drizzle of olive oil. Wow, it is ready for your spring party! A baguette can easily serve 4 people. This recipe can be modified using maple syrup, orange marmalade, peas, collards, or root vegetables, like carrots, beets, easter radishes. Happy Spring to all from mihygge!
